Description
HDPE is generally easy to process, with higher molecular weight grades having stiffer flow properties.
Applications include: Containers, Storage, seals & closures.

2. Baby tub mould design.
We use ug and autocad to make the part design and mould design. And if necessary we will analyse the mould design with moldflow software.
3. Baby tub mould material.
70% customer choose P20 as mould material, and 20% customer would like 718 steel as mould material, and
10% customer will use S45C as the mould material.
a. Top quality tub mould, 718 steel as mould material, mould price is very high. Character: tub surface finish perfect, mould life long (>600,000shots)
b. Normal quality tub mould, P20 steel as mould material. Character: mould life (>300,000shots). After chroming or nitriding can extend the mould life (>400,000shots).
c. If you want to produce not more than 100,000pcs tub. We suggest S45C after tempering treatment as mould material. But the tub surface can not as shinning as P20 and 718 steel mould.

4. Baby tub mould cavity no.
Almost 100% 1 cavity. Because baby tub size is very big, so usually mould designed with 1 cavity.
5. Baby tub mould runner system.
More than 90% with cold runner system, rest with hot runner system. Usually tub mould designed with cold runner directly gate, sprue directly on the part. Below picture as an example.
